My church recently asked me to paint the backdrop for their VBS this year. The theme is "Big Apple Adventure".     I usually try to pin the sheets to the wall to paint these, but being 8 months pregnant makes it harder to pin it to the wall and move it around (plus, it is super large and heavy to move around anyway!).
 I decided to just paint it on the floor. This is not very easy either, as it took up the entire living room floor and made it difficult for the kids to walk around without stepping on it and leaving paint foot prints. lol    I had to paint it, then paint over the foot prints, and paint again to remove any other tracks that were left.   It was kind of exhausting, especially since the size of it all together was 4 queen sized sheets.  It took 2 gallons of white paint just to paint the background!    I was so delighted when it was finally complete!

Once it is hung up with the middle part which has been built by someone else at church, I'll post another picture to show what it looks like all together.
