The Sweetest Note I've Ever Received

James has had to work a lot of overtime since the tornados hit in our town on April 27.   In fact, he has not had a weekend off yet.  He only has had a few days where he got a lunch break too, so it's been kind of hard!     He's got so much work piled up from all of the tornado damage that things just haven't been able to get back to a normal routine yet.

Because of all of this, I was feeling kind of blue yesterday.   James figured this out and he surprised me by writing a letter (directed to Caleb) and giving it to me.  This letter is the most amazing letter I've ever received and it means more to me than anything else he could have possibly done.   I could have won a million dollars and I wouldn't have felt this happy.  The letter said this:

Caleb, this is what you should look for in a wife.
Above all these things, make sure God is first in her life!

I love my wife because she is kind. She is always willing to help those who can't help themselves. She is my best friend. She is always willing to listen. She has not judged to condemnation, but is just in judgement at wrong doing. She is always willing to forgive. She knows all have sinned, but encourages all to be holy.  She would not take a handout, but graciously accepts gifts.  In her heart, I safely trust.
In her work, I am blessed. I appreciate her calling to be a mom and her talent to be an artist.  Never would she argue, but always loves a debate. She never needs the new, and never covets the best.  She will make do with what we have. Ever more am I blessed.   She always encourages my littles to do a little more than they think they can in their hearts. She won't let them get conceited or vain with beauty, strength, or smarts. She is beautiful, in every way there is to be, and I'm so happy God made her for ME!

I just can't stand it when you think your post didn't go through, and you press refresh 4 times and it still looks like it didn't go through so you post another, very similar post and then BOTH of them come through and you look like a dork. I just can't stand that!
