Our Latest Vacation (Gulf Shores)
Last week, James and I took the kids to Gulf Shores for a great weekend. It was so much fun. I especially loved the bike rides that we had at the Hugh S Branyon Backcountry Trail. We rode for 17 miles with the kids, and they didn't complain or get tired at all. It was a wonderful family day together.

This trail had alligators, bobcats, and all kinds of other wildlife on it. We didn't see any bobcats, but we did manage to see a mother alligator with two of her alligator babies.

Noah and Ian got to ride in the Bicycle trailer the whole way. Noah likes to stand up in the seat.

Here is a tortoise that we saw on the trail...we saw quite a few of those! This one had just finished eating some cactus.

Family pic- Ian is in this picture but he is hiding in the yellow bicycle trailer behind me and Caleb. He was asleep when we shot this.

Bonnie took this picture of James and me when we stopped at a rest point.

Here's a picture from the hotel- I love seeing all of the kids looking out over the balcony together.

It was a foggy day at the beach!

Ian was washing windows for us- too cute. He was actually making circular strokes with a baby wipe, and when he saw us watching him, he pushed his face up to the glass and laughed. Too cute!

We ate a delicious steamed platter at the Gulf Shores Steamer....wow, it is good!

MMMMMmmmm.

Here are Ian and Daddy after a long, exhausting day at the beach. Doesn't he look so sweet?

where are these photos taken, Bethany. I have wanted to go somewhere that I can get lots of seafood (like that seafood you have pictured here) on vacation someday. Would you be willing to share with me where this is? I'm in Lafayette, IN, where is this that you were at the beach and eating that yummy seafood?
