Miscarriage Book, All in God's Timing!
I am so happy! Today, I ordered a publishing package from Westbrow press. I should be able to hold the book in my hands within the next 3 months! WOW!
I'm so thankful to Chris and Wendy Jeub , who were kind enough to refer me to this company for self publishing. Before that, I had no idea where to turn. I had previously entered one of their blog drawings to get a free book of theirs. Chris and Wendy's book looked so professional, I asked where they had it done. They were so kind and quickly gave me all of the information that I needed to get started with my own book.
The publishing package I purchased offers so many things. Among those things are: Interior Book Design and Page Layout, an ISBN number, Channel Distribution to 25K Retailers Worldwide, Amazon.com listing, Barnes&Noble.com listing, E-Book Format and Distribution, a Complimentary Author Copy, U.S. Copyright Registration, and Library of Congress Control Number.
I am again amazed at God's amazing timing for everything. I kept worrying that I was waiting too long for the book, but now, I think the delays happened for a reason.
It may not seem relevant to anyone else, but to me it is. Ever since 2007, James supported me wholeheartedly in the writing of my book. He supported the fact that me talking to other women and sharing the pictures was helping other women. The only thing he didn't do was to read the book, or even look at it.
I think that I needed James, more than anyone else, to be the one to say, "I think this book will help someone". I never voiced this desire to him, never begged him to read it, and I never even really consciously thought about it in that way, however. I think subconsciously I may have been afraid he wouldn't like it. I worried that it wasn't good enough, and that, I suppose, is what kept me from taking further steps with it once I got closer to the end of writing it.
After James accepted Christ as His Savior in November of last year, I started noticing many huge changes in him. It literally was as if he was replaced with a new person- and I know that is because he was.
This is just one of the things- probably not the biggest thing, but still pretty big- that changed about him. He suddenly had a desire to really help me with my book, and to look through it. About a week ago, he offered to read through the book and help me edit it and get it ready to publish. I was ecstatic! I couldn't believe he was willing to read it, and he spent all of that day reading and helping me with it. He read through every line. He told me that he was so glad that I am working on this book ,and that he knows it will help other people. He wanted me to get it published as soon as possible. He never had talked about it nearly as much as he did the other day. That meant so much to me.
It seems like that must have been the encouragement which brought all of the confidence I needed to get started.
And it just happened that I got the check for the Electric Co-op mural last week, which had just enough to cover the expense of the publishing package for the book, and to help pay for half of the books I want to order. Perfect timing! (It's funny, because it actually took the Electric company a couple of months to send that money to me- I kept wondering if they were ever going to send it, but I guess they were waiting for the right moment!)

I remember you blogging about how the electric company wanted you to do more detailing on your mural too and didn't they ask for more detailing more than once and I thought that had to have made you feel bad and feel that they might never be satisfied and I felt bad for you actually when I read those posts. Now, with this post you put in today saying that the money just came for that mural and your husband was just now ready to be reading your book because he's different, it's all happened because God was making everything come together in HIS time, don't you think? Isn't it amazing?! I'm astounded actually. That is the reason why the mural wasn't finished to the satisfaction of whoever was in charge of the decision because you weren't to be finished with it until James was closer to God so that he would be ready to help you make the most of your book together with YOU. Wow, this is truly miraculous stuff. I've witnessed your miracle today. I bet your book is going to be so much help to so many and I bet I'll be seeing/hearing more about you. Best wishes and God Bless!~diane

Diane, you have nailed it on the head! I think you have expressed exactly how I feel- that God had His own timing, and He allowed everything to fall into place at exactly the right time. Every time there was a setback, there was a purpose for it.

Congrats on the book, the baby, and all the good things that have been going on in your life. I love it when God leaves His mark on the events in our life. It is always nice to know when we are going in the right direction.
Hope you have a blessed new year!

Bethany, you are such an encouragement to me! Sometimes I feel like I really need my husband's support, but I just can't find the way to express it. I know he has doubts about his walk with the Lord. Thanks for the living example of a Godly wife. It's nice to know that you aren't alone, so see that God can work miracles!
