God is Great! Announcing...

I have been saying this for a while now, but God knows how to turn bad things into good things, and He knows how to make things turn out for the good for those who love Him.      I am so thankful for His goodness!

P.S. Bethany, I REALLY did mean that in a good way--Since we had our babies around the same time, I was thinking, well, I'M not blessed with a new one yet
Normally I'm always first for having a new baby

I just wanted you to be sure I did not mean that in a derogatory way AT ALL! You are BLESSED!

Esther, I had extreme nausea and vomiting during both my pregnancies. Karen Hurd has a blog with information re: morning sickness, and it deals with legumes as the "cure." This made sense to me as Taco Bell burritos were the only thing that made me feel better, and I'd heard others say the same thing! There is also a book called "The Morning Sickness Companion" that was helpful to me. Nausea is a "good" thing, hormone-wise, but too much is not. Sometimes it helps just to know others are in the same boat, and distraction definitely helps also--if possible, don't lie around and feel sick. I noticed I felt better when I attended park days, volunteer opportunities, etc. Contact your nearest Bradley Childbirth Educator for more information about this--they often give "Early Bird" classes to help in this situation! (www.bradleybirth.com) Best to you and your little blessing!

Hi! Congrats on your pregnancy. Wow. This feels a little like meeting a celebrity. The photos of the baby you lost at 8 weeks (6w gestation, right?) Are sort of famous. (I'm sorry for your losses.) I thought the pics were amazing and facinating when I first found them. Little did I know I would one day miscarry at the same gestation. I have pictures too, I'm willing to share. I know how it heals, in a way. My baby had a visable defect as well, in his mouth area.
You can email me at bcblondie05 at hotmail dot com, if you'd like.
    Good luck with your pregnancy.
