God Answers Prayer

Have you prayed for something, that was very important to you and have waited 5, 10, or even 15 years for God to answer, and began feeling hopeless, as though maybe God wasn’t listening, or doesn’t care about your problem?

Maybe you have even begun doubting whether God can even help.

I want to tell you today that if you have ever been in this situation- Don’t. Give. Up.

God IS listening to you.

He loves you.

I want to tell you something else.

Sometimes, in the midst of answering our prayers, God will allow us to go through some of the more intense and difficult trials we have ever faced.   Sometimes we will be expected to carry a load that is almost impossibly heavy for us to bear.    If you think that this pain means that God has forgotten you or forsaken you, you would be absolutely wrong.

In fact, it is in these times that He is closer than ever.

It is sometimes through our deepest pain and hardships that God is answering our prayers in His own mysterious ways.   If we trust that He will pull us through our trial, we will see the end result is something more blessed than we could have ever imagined.

We have to keep trusting God, and especially when it seems that he is furthest away.  These are actually the times when He is right beside you, if you do not pull away from Him as a result of your weakness.

Be patient.  His will becomes eventually visible, showing you what His marvelous plan was all along, and leaving you breathless at His amazing love for you- and you will find an answer to prayer that is greater than you could have ever hoped for on your own.

I am glad that you wrote this! All that I can add is that it is absolutely true. I have been there. And my conclusion was that I had to have cancer and go through that trial, but it was worth it and I actually believe that I had to go through that in order to be so powerfully blessed like I could have never imagined. Every step from then on was layed out by God and his plan for me. That I have two children today is all because of his plan and his love. He is an awesome God. And GOD LOVES EVERY ONE OF HIS CHILDREN, we just don't see it sometimes or don't want to. He is there, always! Glad your prayer got answered..... after all, it is always in HIS time, not ours!
May He continue to bless you and your family!
