The Christmas Season - so Busy!
Every year around Christmas, it seems to get busier, and busier, and busier. I have so many projects I can't even seem to keep up with them, and every time I think I have figured out how to get it all done, I get more people asking for more projects to be done. I have been so backed up with things to do. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy painting and doing artwork- I just wish I had more time! Seems like October and November have just flown by without me having a chance to catch up!
Here are some of the things that I've been working on the past month.
Backdrop for the Christmas play at church- I have four more of these to do. This one is part of the Jerusalem gate. I still have to do another part of the gate, a stable, and two Bethlehem scenes.
s
This is something I did for a friend who is a photographer. She wanted a Christmas backdrop for portraits- It is 9' x 9' (painted on a king sized sheet).

I decided to use the backdrop myself before sending it to her...

And took this picture of Ian- I also took pictures of the other kids, but I just thought this picture was the best:

Here is a pencil portrait I'll be sending out this week:

And two pencil portraits I have begun working on:

And another thing - I had a call about the Electric Co-op mural in town, and apparently they still want me to improve on it, so that is yet another thing I need to begin working on.
Hope you're all having a great day!

Oh, so good to hear from you again
I think we're much a like, as an artist myself and tailor, People always ask me to do a lot of things.
I apperently make it look easy...and I have a hard time saying : NO, I'm sorry but I don't have the time...
Remember to take care of yourself and your family..it's hard to be creative if you are drained....
You are so talented and the christmas backdrop are amazing
Well all your projekts are...
Blessings from Denmark
