8 Weeks

I can't believe Ian is already 8 weeks old...he is going to be running around with my older kids before I know it!
Lately, I've been so busy that it has been almost impossible to find time for computer or anything else. I've only made 10 entries from April to May, and that's the smallest amount I've ever made...and I used to blog every day. But it is all worth it, because I'm spending time with someone very precious!

Having a baby when you have older kids to help you is so much easier! If I'm busy and Ian starts crying, there is always someone who will pick him up, or try to calm him. There is always someone who is willing to throw away a dirty diaper for me, or find him a cute outfit to wear. It is the most adorable thing ever seeing my little daughter picking him up and acting like a little mommy to him. She hugs and kisses him, and is always telling me to look at all of his cute faces.

I've also enjoyed having the Ergo baby carrier so much. If only I had had one of these when I the other babies. I use it EVERY DAY. It was expensive but worth every penny. Going grocery shopping is a breeze, because the baby is snug and happy, and I don't really think it is much different than before at all. I love being able to walk around, and look down and see his little face too. I remember lugging carseats everywhere I went, and they are so awkward and heavy...the Ergo is light and comfortable and I have two free hands. It is a million times better than what I did before.

I've been wanting to post lots of pictures here, but this blog system seems to be so slow lately. I can only upload one picture at a time, and they are taking a minute each. I've been posting more pictures on facebook than anywhere, because it takes no time at all. But I finally have a few minutes today, so here are some pictures that I wanted to share!
Here they are all together:

OOps! That's a picture from 2005 when Noah was the baby.
Here are all four altogether, for real this time:

Caleb is such a proud brother!

And Noah, although he didn't want to welcome a new baby at first, has now become so loving of Ian that it is amazing.

That's all for now... I hope you have all been having a wonderful Spring!

Precious pictures, Bethany! Wish I'd had that kind of carrier when my little one was a preemie. My niece let me borrow the one she had, but neither one of us could use it, because it had too many complicated straps! It was also nearly impossible to maneuver the baby in and out of it. Ah, well...

Bethany, you need to change the part of this blog "About Me." It still says that you have 3 children. And we all know that it needs to be updated. I am so hap[y for your whole family. And your little people all look very happy. Hugs to all of you.

Beautiful pictures. I love the one of Ian sleeping. There is nothing more precious than watching a sleeping baby. My oldest is 4 and I still love watching her sleep.

Your kids are so beautiful! My youngest of 4 is 6 months old and it has absolutely flown by....I try to treasure every moment, even her fussy times, because she will be grown before I know it.
