I've had so much to write about lately, but have had no time to do it!    The first few months of having a new baby always are time consuming, so it has just been hard to get a moment to stop and actually take time to write on this blog.   

For a while, I have wanted to share this beautiful little treasure that was sent to me from a wonderful friend... Debra, from Days of Grace , is one of the most talented people I have ever been fortunate enough to know. She also has a heart of gold. 

Debra knew Ian's due date was sometime mid-April, but of course wasn't sure when it would actually happen. The day she sent them just happened to be the perfect time- they arrived the DAY he was born!    After I had given birth, my husband had gone back to the house to bring some things we needed....he checked the mail, and saw a box with these perfectly beautiful booties and a hat inside:



I found it amazing there is not one tiny mistake on either the socks or the hat. I can't imagine having enough patience and skill to create something like this.  They are absolutely perfect, and I am going to treasure them forever.
