High School Mural #4
Saturday was such a great day. At about 3:00 PM, James and I started working on the mural again, to try to get what we could done.
I had rented the scissorlift for one day, and wanted to get as much done as possible in a short amount of time, so that I wouldn't have to rent it any longer than the one day. (It is 150 dollars per day, and even though I'm not the one paying for it, it is still a lot of money that I don't want to waste).
Once we had been out there 2 hours and I wasn't done with the first tree, I was afraid that we would not be able to get both trees done in time, but James kept telling me not to worry and that we would be able to get it done. He was right- and by 7:00, we had the trees finished and I even had time to add a flag to the flagpost at the top of the building!
Here's a picture of me working on the first tree...James was being a goof and painted his initials on my legs. lol

James got up on the scissorlift with me and we both worked on the trees, which made the work go by so much faster. He's such a great help and encouragement to me!

Here is what the building looked like when we finished for the day!

We took a walk to a parking deck across the street and took a picture from there:

By the way, I've had a few people asking me about how the Gestational Diabetes diet worked out and whether I continued it, etc. I promise I'll make a post very soon about it! Sorry I haven't sooner...we've just been so busy and I keep forgetting!

Wow! I did a double take when I looked at the first picture of the tree you painted because I thought it was a real tree! I think that means you did a great job!
