Church Play Backdrop Finished

My mom was kind enough to watch the kids for me for a few hours today so I could finish the backdrop for the church play. It's such a relief to have it finished!  I have had so many things to do this month and it just feels good to get something done!

Here's what the backdrop looks like now.   Hopefully that'll work.

I used almost all black and white acrylic paint for this mural- and just a tiny bit of red.   Here's a picture of me with it to show what size it is- the sheet is about 12 ft long, I think.

Oh No Bethany!!!! You have a typo. right above your head it should be conCourse c.

Just a question... did the photo of train depot have TO train, or train to? I hate to sound so critical, you did a WONDERFUL job. I just do proofreading all day.

Did you notice that concourse is spelled wrong on the right side above your head? Was that on purpose?

Another question, have you been using baby safe paint? Normal paint is toxic, to growing babies and you shouldn't be breathing it while pregnant.

I mean Hartsfield/Jackson- duh. I think acrylic paint is safe. My mom taught elementary school art for years and they used it with little kids sometimes. It's not very fumey.

Heidi, I love acrylic paints- so versatile...they are great and are safe and non-toxic. That's what I have always used. I painted many murals whle I was pregnant with Noah! lol

I LOVE it! I too do the murals for my kids elem school plays. It is a new club in an old school and I am rt now painting on art paper and taping it to the brick wall What kind of fabric did you use. Just a sheet or a canvas? I am trying to upgrade it a bit so we can reuse some of the art. Any suggestions?
