Miscarriage Book Still in Progress
I have not brought it up in a while but I am still working on the book about healing after miscarriage.
I had a really hard time there for a while, and it had come to a standstill for months because there is so much research involved in putting the book together (more than I had previously expected!), and I was overwhelmed by it all. However, I have found that the best thing is to push through it when it seems hardest. It works!
I will be so happy when I can finally say that the book is completed. I know that many of you have been patiently waiting for me to finish it, and I truly hope that it will help many people who are going through a pregnancy loss.
There have been so many people who have kindly been contributing and helping me out with this book over the last year or two, and I can't thank you enough for everything you have done! Without your help and encouragement, I just don't know what I would have done!
If you ever have anything you'd like to contribute to the book, or if you have any ideas, please feel free to let me know. Thanks again!

Hi Bethany!
I look forward to reading this book someday and just want to encourage you. If this was compared to a marathon, then we are on the sidelines cheering you on those last difficult miles!
You will be in my prayers!
Love,
Kay

I'll be so excited when you announce that you're finished. I think that's such a great ministry to women who have lost their babies.
We lost another one last month.

I haven't been on your site much since this month I lost my 3rd baby. ( We have 7 other children) I think one of the hardest things now that the physical suffering has passed is connecting with or seeing people that we were "pregnant together" with. It feels like a knot deep in the pit of my stomach. Thanks for all you do to share your experiences with others. It does help.

Cheryl, I am so very sorry for your loss! I can relate to what you are talking about with being "pregnant together" with someone. It's so hard to watch someone else's baby growing perfectly fine when yours didn't...even though you are happy for them and their baby, you just wonder why it couldn't be that way for you and your baby. I know what you mean. ((hugs))
I hope that you and Margaret will be able to have another child very soon, and that you will find comfort and healing from your losses very soon.

I stumbled on your blog today, but I found your pictures of Blessing in Feb 2009 when I lost my little one at 12 weeks. They were such a comfort, because it gave me an idea of what my baby might have looked like. And to find that you're a Christian is even better! God carried me through my miscarriage, quite literally, and without Him I would not have made it through. I'm now pregnant again and we found out today the baby is alive and well and doing perfectly. Praise God!
