Letter that Melted my Heart

Sometimes I feel so inadequate as a mother.  I am constantly aware of all of my shortcomings and failures with my children, and many times feel like I'm not doing enough, or that I need to be better- so when I get a letter like this from one of my kids, it really brightens my day!

I am so thankful that children love you despite all of your flaws!

Dear Bethany: It is so NATURAL to feel the way you do sometimes! I have a beautiful 20 year old daughter and a handsome 25 year old son; I felt as you did many times - but you have a love of God and your children are blessed to have a loving Christian mother and daddy; you are helping to make the world a better place by bringing up children "in the way they should go." Stay encouraged!
