VBS Mural Finished and Hung

I've been really busy this week, working in the kitchen at VBS with several other ladies.  It's been a lot of fun.   There were 116 children the first night, 123 the second night, and about 130 the third.   If they reach 140 children before Friday, the pastor will go into a dunking booth.

Here is a picture of the VBS mural I painted, when they were putting it up.   I was so happy that it ended up looking centered, despite me having to put it together piece by piece and just play it by ear.    So many times, I tell myself "that won't work!", but I try it anyway...and somehow, things end up working out.

And one thing that is wonderful is that it will be used again- a lady from Ohio asked me if she could use it for their church's VBS this year (starting the 20th).   It is so good to know that someone else can get some use out of it.

Noah, Bonnie, Caleb, and I have all been getting sick with some kind of cold- I am giving us all Airborne to try to knock it out.   I think being around all of those kids probably exposed us to something that's going around.    It is giving us all earaches- so don't know what it is.  No fevers yet, so I'm glad for that.

i'll post some pictures from VBS later.
