What I've Been Working On
This week has been filled with more and more paintings to complete. I've been working on several shirts, and have about 5-6 more to complete before Sunday. It's amazing how opportunities just seem to pop up when I try something new. There are many people who are wanting their own animal shirts, and I am really enjoying making them.
The other day, I made this SpongeBob shirt for a friend of mine whose son is my children's pen pal....Spongebob is his favorite TV show, so I thought it would be fun for him.

Here is a Polar Bear shirt that I added to my Etsy shop today...

My friend, Debra from Days of Grace, gave me permission to use one of her chicken pictures for these shirts that I made for my brother and sister-in-law, for their birthdays. They love chickens and I know they are going to love these shirts. Debra is such a talented photographer. In my next post, I will show you step by step how I made these shirts.

And last but not least, I have a really large project to work on... I am working on painting the backdrop for our church's VBS this year (Boomerang Express). It's really huge, but I think that it will give me practice for the other mural I'll be doing in the next few months. In the picture, you can see about 1/3 of the sheet.. I'm having to do this in sections. Hopefully I'll be able to have it finished by the time VBS starts (in about 3 weeks)!

Hey...Our children just finished the same VBS and absolutely loved it! There were over 350 kids that came and over 30 kids turned their lives over to Jesus! Awesome!
