Fish Mural
Today I planned on painting a few t-shirts, but ended up painting a small mural instead. My brother-in-law liked the fish shirt I painted for him so much, he asked that I paint a similar one on his wall, with some seaweed.

This took about 3 1/2 hours to complete. The kids stayed in there with me while I worked... Bonnie practiced skating, and Caleb and Noah watched Sponge Bob. They were really good and let me get the job done. Every so often, they would come in to see how the progress was coming along.
By the way, today is the first day since I had my wisdom teeth all pulled, that I haven't had to take a Lortab or Ibuprofin. Not even one. I am SO thankful that the pain has left, because it was so hard to deal with when it was there. It seemed like it would never let up for such a long time- I think about 13 days. But it finally did! My tongue is still numb on the left side, but the dentist said it should be about a month or two, and the feeling should come back (fingers crossed!). I'm getting used to it, but I'd rather have the feeling in it!
The one really good thing that has come out of this is that I lost 10 pounds, because of the soup diet I was on. Now that I am able to eat more solid foods again, it's staying off and still dropping...I don't seem to have as big of an appetite as before anymore. I wonder if that's because I got used to eating less? Whatever the case, I am so thrilled.

That is a beautiful mural! I'm so glad to hear you are feeling better from having your teeth pulled. I had mine out when my two oldest were 3 and 9 months and that was the hardest two weeks I can recall... but it does get better and you will be so glad you had them out once they heal. Have a blessed day!

Nice mural, I can't believe you actually finished it in 3 1/2 hours. I bet the kids were thrilled to watch you painting, they love this kind of stuff.
