Meeting Jill Stanek
For the last few months, I've been anticipating meeting a good friend, Jill Stanek.... I've known her ever since she helped me share my story about my miscarriage on her blog two years ago. She has been a great encouragement and friend ever since!
We got to meet at a speaking engagement she had in Kentucky this week- afterwards, we had some appetizers at O'Charleys and chatted a while. Jill is a wonderful person who has done so much for the pro-life cause...I'm so glad to have gotten to meet her in person.

There were 800 people at the speaking event. I go to a pretty small church so that is a lot of people to me!
Here's a picture of Jill speaking- I wish I could have video taped it and posted it here. It was an excellent speech.
While James and I were in Kentucky, we did a lot more, but I'll post about all of that in separate posts as I get time!

I have been subscribed to your blog for a few months now and have yet to reach out to you. I dont even really remember how I found you. But I do remember what struck my couriosity was your pictures of your miscarried baby. I have had four miscarriges myself before finally carying and giving birth to my first son on Jan 1, 2009. I never had the guts to really look when I had mine. I admire you for caring enough to share your stories with others. I cant wait to be able to get my hands on your Miscarriage book when its done. I will keep you in my prayers as you continue to put this book together. God Bless!
