Large Mural Idea #2
I went to the Chamber of Commerce again today…I was going to pick up the sketch I had left with them. Since I didn’t get a call Tuesday, I assumed that meant that they had decided they didn’t want the mural on the wall after all.
When I walked in, however, the woman there immediately remembered me and said, “Hi Bethany! I’m so glad you stopped by. I hope you don’t think we’ve forgotten about you.”
Apparently, the President of the Historical Society hadn’t been able to show up Tuesday as expected… and the next time she will be there will be on May 5th.
The lady from the Chamber of Commerce said that they are still excited about the idea, and she would like me to present my portfolio on May 5th to the President of the Historical Society myself.
So I now have hope again….This may still happen! Wow!

Not sure if I've said it before but I'm proud of you for pursuing this. Everyone has the right to nurture the beauty inside them, the beauty that God plants there. It's up to us to make it grow.

Thank you Laura, and Nicole. I really appreciate it. If it's God's will that I do this, it will happen. If I do get it, I know God will give me the ability to accomplish it.
