My Mother-in-Law, Bonnie, used to make these precious little babies that she called "Bonnie Babies" for years when my husband was a little boy.

She never had any little girls to give these to (she had four boys!), but she used to sell these at craft shows all of the time.  They are ADORABLE.



See the picture in the corner of that picture?  That is OUR Bonnie...when she was tiny, we thought it would be cute to let our "Bonnie baby" pose with all of the other "Bonnie Babies".    I still love that picture.



Bonnie (mother in law, not daughter) started making these babies again recently...and will be selling them on Etsy soon!
I just have to show you some of her recent dolls- they are too precious not to show off:

This is one she made for my daughter.... it's one of the smaller versions of the doll...

 Our Bonnie LOVES this doll, and named her "Jasmine".  She takes her to bed with her every night, and makes sure that she's always comfortable in her bed and has plenty of kisses.



She pays attention to every last detail -the little toes, the elbows and knees, the patootie, and the belly button, and the mouth and nose...they're all hand stitched.




Bonnie (MIL) also hand paints the eyes...and other features, like freckles...

This one in particular is very unique...it is a tiny lovey blanket  with a baby head on it... that silly little face makes me laugh.

All of the dolls are "Soft Sculpture" dolls. They have no removable parts. 
There are two sizes, large and small.
The large dolls are 15 inches tall, and are $40.00.
The small dolls are 11 inches tall and are $35.00.

You can custom order, telling Bonnie what color hair, what color eyes, etc that you would like for your doll, and she'll create a unique one especially for you.  No two dolls will be exactly alike!
