Triangle Man #2
I haven't found my camera yet, but my mom let me borrow hers for a little while when she came over today. Yay!
It's been a year since I posted about Caleb's drawing of a triangular shaped man. I had seen the drawing and thought it would make such a cute toy. When I made it, I was amazed at how quickly this toy became Caleb's favorite. He even wrote a tiny little book about it for me.
I have never seen a toy that was loved so much. After a year, he still loves it as much as he did when I made it! The triangle man that I made last time (click here to see) now is very dirty- I have tried washing it, but the dirtiness never goes away. He has loved and played with this toy so much that it doesn't even look yellow anymore...it's almost brown! lol Because of this, I've been trying to find the time to replace his old triangle man with a new one.
I finally did it yesterday.
So here is triangle man #2.

The eyes and mouth were done with acrylic paint. Saved me a lot of time as I didn't have to embroider them!

Caleb has been asking me for quite some time to make a female Triangle toy (for Bonnie), so I think I'll do that next.

I love it! Is it ok if I make one for my little one? She keeps saying "It's my doll! I like it!"

Mrs. Taft, I would love it if you did that! ('Im sure Caleb would like to see it too!) It is so simple to put together...if you make one, please send me a picture...I'd like to do a blog post on it.
