Awesome Day Yesterday!
It's amazing how God brings friends into your life in the most unexpected ways.
I posted a little while ago about a woman from a local paper calling me and asking if she could write an article about my artwork.... I was interviewed by her (Anne) the next day, and she was so very nice. The article will be showing in the paper soon, and when it does, I'll be posting it here.
Anne invited the kids and me to come to her farm so the kids could feed the cows and have a little fun with the other animals. So we went there yesterday and everyone had such a blast.
Anne gave all of the kids a big bottle, and they got to feed the calves. (You can see Anne in the top left; her husband is in the middle).
Here's Noah petting his calf while feeding him with the other hand.
Bonnie seemed to feeding them the most. Too bad her hair is in the way in this picture!
You should have seen her smile. She was loving it.
Here is Bonnie petting "Miss Jenny", the mule.
'
I am posting this picture below, because I thought it was funny. The shadow almost makes it look like the mule reached out her "hand' and took food out of Bonnie's hand.
Noah petting Miss Jenny.
Caleb feeding Miss Jenny.
All of the kids got to sit on Miss Jenny.
And they got to ride a four wheeler for the first time...
Look at that face- sheer joy!
And my favorite part of the day was when the kids were all chasing the goats. There were four of them, and they just ran around trying to catch them for about 10 minutes. The goats finally did give up and let them pet them.
