Another Baby Dress

I made another dress like the one in this post two nights ago, after a commenter requested I make one in 2T.    It is so much fun making these little girl dresses that I am going to have to get out some of the other vintage patterns I've got and try making and selling them as well!

Here is the 2T dress:

Here is a closeup of the fabric...I think this is an adorable print!

      LOL Melissa!

Actually, I think I do have a pattern that is similar to that, for a woman. Not sure what size it is though. Kind of like the "I Love Lucy" Maternity clothes.

that is gorgeous. I wish I had a sewing teacher. lol I got a great machine but always have little issues that I don't know how to fix. Like...the thread will look fine on top of the material but on the bottom there will be TONS of bunched up thread...like it didn't work right so I gave up.

Sandi, I have had that problem too before, and it is very frustrating. What has always helped me is to change the thread. For some reason, the only kind of thread that will work in mine is the "all purpose" kind. If you don't load the string in the bobbin correctly, many times that causes that problem. Also, you can adjust the thread tension and see if that helps. Those are all things that have helped me when my sewing machine does that.

Sarah, what size would you like? I have many little girls vintage dress patterns and would be happy to try to make one in the size you'd like!
