Awana
My kids have recently begun an Awana program and are absolutely loving it! Bonnie earned a vest two weeks ago, and Caleb is working through a book. What I love about Awana is that the kids are actually looking forward to memorizing Bible verses, memorizing the books of the Bible, etc. Caleb worked in his Awana book almost all day long the first day he had it, and he kept smiling every time he would finish one lesson. Then he would have me sign it.

Hello! Congrats to them both. I know mine love AWANA too. My oldest is in her 3rd year and is a Spark and my middle is in her 2nd year (last as a Cubby). Next year my son will begin his first year

Yay! Bethany!! That is so so sweet!! Derek has been in the Awana program for a few weeks now and HE LOVES IT! He's doing so good remembering his scriptures now more than ever! Hugs!!

My kids love awana's also. I have a 2nd year Cubby and a 2nd year sparky! I did have a t&t also but she doesn't want to go anymore

Hi Bethany! Neat-o! Annie (my 5 year old) and I have been memorizing a few Scriptures too! We don't have Awana but I've heard wonderful things about the program! Blessings from WI!

You are not kidding! I can't believe how much he has grown in just the last year. I can't believe he's almost 9. In just a few years, he will be 12! That is just incredible to me.

We basically have to sneak pics of our son in order for them to be normal also. I am not sure what it is but he is 8 and hates for his pics to be taken. Sometimes he'll give in if it's for the web page...he likes the celebrity of it I guess!

I used to have a vest just like Bonnie's. I had several crowns with little jewels in them. I remember wearing it to public school in 2nd grade for show-and-tell and all the kids being puzzled about it. AWANA was alot of fun and taught me alot about living the Christian life. Now I am 32 years old--and have never forgotten AWANA!

LeighAnne! It's so good to hear from you again. I was just thinking about you. I have sent you an email recently but I think I might have sent it to the wrong email address because you didn't reply. How is the baby? I would love to see new pictures.
I still remember AWANA from when I was their age too. It was so much fun, and I loved memorizing Bible verses and getting badges.
