Bonnie's Poetry

I was reading some poems to the kids and Bonnie told me she was going to try her hand at writing a few poems. So she say down and composed these:

Two, Two.
Shoe, Shoe.
What will I do?
What will I do?
For my head is wet!
Wet!
Wet!
Wet!

The frog hopped
On the log,
The dog found
The frog.
He went on the jogger,
the dog went away,
The frog got on the log.

Bat-Bat.
The bat swung
The bat.
The ball got hit.
(she explained that the first "bat" refers to the animal bat, and the second "bat" refers to a baseball bat- so it was an animal bat swinging a bat)

Also, Bonnie drew me a very sweet picture.... when I asked her who the man was dancing with the bear, guess who she said it was?

It's Jesus dancing walking with the bear (Bonnie just informed me that He is NOT dancing-He's walking. lol) I thought that was so funny.   And cute.

I'm trying to talk Caleb into writing some poems for me this week...maybe he will.

By the way, I wanted to also share one thing I learned from Bonnie today as we were taking a walk outside:  "If you don't have a dishwasher, but you have dirty dishes, one good way to clean them would be to let the dog lick them. Then you could just wipe them with a towel, and they would be nice and clean!"

What did you think of this article?

Heheh, we use that trick sometimes... Bentley cleared out a casserole my grandmother made (she's a great cook, but she likes gristle and thinks everyone else should too, so she doesn't pick it out of the chicken) so the pan is nice and clean. It will get the full detergent wash later though. Love Bonnie's poetry and artwork.
    =D
