I Was Bitten by the Sewing Bug!
Yesterday, my husband stayed home all day, because he caught some virus that has been going around...he had fever and chills for two days. Surprisingly, I haven't gotten sick (yet!) and feel fine. I hope that lasts! This is a first for me, because usually when one of us gets sick, we all do. And usually all at the same time!
So I was able to take care of him pretty well...it was nice to finally be able to do that without feeling rotten! The kids have had a little bit of a cold, but nothing major, and I think they're already over it!
While James was home yesterday, I just got into the sewing mode, and I sewed most of the day.
Here is what I worked on. I used McCall's EASY pattern M5355 to make this little nightgown for Bonnie:

Then I used Simplicity easy pattern 4336, to make some pajama pants for Caleb:

After I made the nightgown, Bonnie asked her if I would make her a dress. When I had first started sewing a couple of years ago, my mother in law pre-cut several different types of fabric into one type of dress pattern to make for Bonnie. That was so nice, having the pieces already cut and ready to sew! I had made all but one of the dresses back then, but the last one had been sitting in a Ziploc bag since then, waiting to be put together. Since Bonnie asked, I decided to go ahead and make it finally! I don't remember the pattern number for this dress...sorry!
This picture is a bit blurry...

I also added some more to the quilt I'm working on....

So that's how yesterday went.
Noah has asked me to make him some Pajama pants like his brother, so hopefully I'll get a chance to work on that today!

Hi Bethany!
You certainly are a busy bee! I love the dress you made for Bonnie. The print with the blue trim is very pretty on her. I used to sew a lot of my clothes in highschool. You are inspiring me to get back into it. It's so much more fun than shopping. My problem, I have too many hobbies! Have a great day!

Those clothes look lovely. I must start actually using my sewing machine.

awesome work--you're such a busy lady, but it's all such wonderful, productive work for your family. Keep it up. I have been sewing for a short time, but looking at your projects makes me want to keep at it.

You're going to think I'm crazy. I got your comment asking for the pattern numbers, but I'm not sure what post you commented on *smacks forehead* If you can tell me which post it is, I'll be happy to get you the pattern numbers!
