Easy McCalls Skirt
I haven't been sewing much lately, but I finally got my sewing room cleaned out and organized, and now I have a new burst of motivation to sew!
Yesterday afternoon, I sewed this skirt (McCalls pattern m5295):

I really like it...and I think it was a great price too...The pattern for the skirt was $2.99 (I bought it over a year ago!), the fabric that looks quilty was $1.00 a yard (I had two yards)...and the other fabric I got for free from someone... I just had laying around, and it just happened to match!

That is so sweet of you to say... I have been feeling kind of icky this past week and it felt nice to get a compliment!
As for my weight, I still have a baby tummy which I am trying really hard to get rid of....but I think that it might be genetics...my mom is pretty small. Maybe we have a high metabolism?
When I got pregnant with my first child though, I gained 60 pounds, and that was tough to get off! It's a bit embarrassing, but I danced to Richard Simmons "sweating the oldies" for about a year, to get rid of the excess weight. lol!

I agree with motherofmany!!! I'd like to know that same thing! I really wish I knew how to sew although I'm not sure what I would make considering we are already overflowing in toys and clothes, but I just love the things I see you sew!
