Another Way to Use Apple Peels
I found another way online to preserve apple peels- make Potpourri! This particular kind is ridiculously easy... just take the peels, lay them out on a cookie sheet, and bake at 200 degrees for 2-3 hours.
When they're dried completely, take them out, coat them in cinnamon and allspice and voila! Apple potpourri!
The whole house smells so good and apple- cinnamony!

You can also make variations of it, using lemon oil, different essential oils, dried lemon and orange peels, anise seed, etc.

You are seriously one of the most resourceful people I've ever met (well not technically met, but you know what I mean). You have the best ideas. Your blog has quickly become one of my favorites.
