Accidental Find Today
I was driving back from the store today, when I saw a yard sale sign and had to stop. I was so glad I did because I got a great bargain!
I found this box just loaded with craft stuff. Each roll of fabric was labeled 1.00 a piece. The dolls were 2-3 dollars each, and the hats were .50 cents each.
I asked the woman there if she wouldn't mind giving me a price for ALL of it. She took it out, looked at it for a moment, then said, "How about 10.00?" Wow!
For ALL of this.....
I also got a Mr. Potato head with accessories for $2.50...
Noah has already been having fun with it...
One more thing I found at the sale was a brand new DVD player (still had the receipt with it, the booklet and the remote) for only $20.00.
I thought this was a great find today!

WOW! You made a haul, girl!
Had to laugh--we were doing school this week and 5 of 8 was dragging his feet (he'll be seven in a few weeks)--I told him how Caleb had finished his Saxon math and worked very hard and was way ahead and didn't that give 5 of 8 some inspiration to work hard and get ahead and he responded in his little scratchy, Elmer Fudd voice, "Well, Caleb is older...and smarter..."
Hee hee--so much for my Caleb Inspirational Speech!

Haha that is so cute!! It honestly sounds like something Caleb would say, if I did something similar. If you get a chance, tell him I said that he's a lot like Caleb.

Wow! What a find! I can't wait to see your posts w/ all the great crafts you'll make w/ that stuff.
My kids love Mr. Potato Head, too. They're so creative; I've been amazed at all the different toys they have mixed Potato Head parts with. BTW, if you ever find the little Mr. Potato Heads (mini ones), they *are* compatible w/ big Mr. Potato Head; all the parts are interchangeable. Big plus.
