Printable Bible Pages for Homeschooling
Sarah, a friend of mine who comments here frequently, sent me a link to a wonderful homeschooling resource! In the link below, you will find 325 FREE Bible coloring sheet/memory verse/worksheets for your children. You can print them off and use as many as you need...and the Bible verses are in the King James Version translation too.
Very, very cool! Here is the link:

Here are a couple of example pages...there are so many, from the Old and New Testament. I think this is a fantastic resource.

Thanks for sharing. We have decided to home school Alex this fall. The curriculum we will be using does not have a Bible section with it. These will come in handy.

I bookmarked this site. I like the full list. I've used the resource before where it was linked on another site. I really like having all the lessons in one place though. Thanks!

I like this site, but have never used it (the children have been going to a Bible Study with me - Community Bible Study.) But next year we are taking a break from it, so maybe I will get a chance to use it.
Another great study is at hometooling.org. I also haven't used this, but have downloaded it and look forward to it. I bet you can use both together!

I just printed off two of the stories. My 6 year old will love this but I will have to help her with a lot of the reading.
Last night my husband and I discussed homeschooling the young ones but after attempting it with the older set of kids...I am a bit nervous. It was wonderful for my son who has dyslexia but I struggled with my daughters. I live in Alabama and am not sure of the laws regarding this. Any suggestions or help?
I found yesterday as I did a bible study with my little ones that I missed spending so much quality time with them. I will have another baby soon and I don't want to start something that I cannot keep up with.

Shelly, here are all of the Alabama laws on homsechooling from HSLDA:

I think that you will do just fine. Maybe you could plan to take a month or two off homeschooling after the baby is born, so that you can have time to get yourself organized and ready again. The wonderful thing about Homeschooling is that you can be so flexible and you can adjust the times to your convenience.
And other schools have a 3 month summer break...if you're homeschooling, as opposed to public schooling, your break can be whatever time of year you decide.
I hope that helps!

Thanks Bethany for the website. I have to go grocery shopping tonight but will be looking at the sight more closely tomorrow.
Went to the doctor today and I have lost 3 pounds and my pressure was up a bit. Cutting way down on carbs I am sure is the culprit for the weightloss but the pressure I am not sure about. I know I just have not been feeling well for the past several days. The doctor told me to get off of my feet whenever possible and drink lots of fluid. I am 31 weeks today so the day is getting closer. Ironic thing is that even though I have had many children I am very nervous about doing it again.

Thank you so much for posting. What a wonderful program to use for our Bible lesson in homeschooling. I am so excited to start sharing these with my son.

bethany,
we looked into Seten Homeschooling and it is very affordable. We asked our 6 year old what she thought of it and if she understood what it was. I explained that she would no longer be on the bus, in the lunchroom, playing with all of the other kids, etc. and she responded with "My teacher yells too much, and the other kids are mean." She also said that "she misses me". How sweet. I will continue praying but I do trust that God leads us when we pray and that we are to lean not on our own understanding. I hope to be able to find a support group that is local so she can still be around peers her own age. This past year was difficult, not with grades but with the "morals" that she seemed to be bringing home. I want to change that. Last night before bed I sat and read the little ones Noah and then we did the coloring pages that went with it. They loved it. Simple and spent time together...precious.
Anyways, all is well with the pregnancy as of yesterday. My sugar levels are good but I am still considered gestational diabetic. I am 32 weeks and getting ready for our new little girl. Will keep you updated. shelly
ps. my e-mail has changed but not sure how to fix it on your website..

I wanted to say thanks again! I passed this along to a lady who is doing children's church now. We just started going to a newly started church. And she didn't really have anything as far as resources for children. I had this marked as a favorite, and found it this past Wednesday.
The lady used it this Morning. She LOVES it. She loves how it has activities for the younger kids and older ones.
Thanks Bethany, and Sarah!
