Push Pin Apple
While I was taking a nap today, Bonnie was creating this little guy. She showed it to me when I woke up. She picked an apple from our tree, and decorated it with push pins. Kids are so creative!

What a cute apple! I wish I had that tree in my backyard. How often does it produce fruit?
Thanks for the photos earlier. Your land is so pretty. Are you in a town or "the country"?
It's hot (85 -90?) up north now. The tulips are gone and summer flowers are blooming. Now, if we could keep the grass from turning brown, I'd be happy!
Take care! Love, Janet

Hey there!! Just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to de-lurk a little bit!! I read quite a few posts and you sound like a wonderful mother, and look entirely way too young to have an 8 year old. Im sure you hear that a lot!!

Oh he is such a cute apple! (He? She? LOL!) What a great imagination!
About your other post about once a month cooking...sounds like a GREAT idea but to me (who has never cooked that much at once) it sounds a little scary. Do you find doing a lot of work at once makes it worth it to have all those meals ready in the freezer? Does it take a lot of resources and organization to get it done?

I'm as impressed by the fact that you actually got to take a nap, as I am by the apple art itself!
