Caleb's Dinosaur Essay
I told Caleb (my 8 year old) to do an essay today. He chose to write about dinosaurs (an obsession of his). lol I thought it was so cute:
Tyrannosaurus Rex.

The T-rex is the largest, most famous, and scary tyrant of all!
Tyrant: T-Rex's were king of all dinosaurs (or Theropods). They are now extinct (like most of the dinosaurs).
Large: T-Rex's are about 15 times bigger than a large person, and 150 times larger than a super small baby.
Famous: Mostly because of movies.
Scary: Cause of their teeth - 1/2 foot long!

I like his comment about "most of the dinosaurs" being extinct. I wonder if you have read and/or taught your kids some of the stuff I've read about the possibility of some dinos possibly still being alive (pterodactyls, small brachiosaurs, even Nessie as a plasiosaur).
