Here is the third update on the picture as it looks today. Since I can't scan it in, the picture is showing up a little dark (around his head it is actually white and not gray), but you get the idea!
Since some of you asked how I draw this, I decided to take pictures while I was drawing the eye, step by step. It's not much but it might help you see my technique, and realize how easy it really is!
I will be posting these as soon as I can... I can't today because I have a lot to catch up on, but will try to either tonight or tomorrow!

When I asked "HOW?!" in a previous comment, I wanted to clarify it was more of an awe struck question.
