Caleb Drew this Today
I thought this was cute. Caleb drew the "fruits of the Spirit" on a paper, in a cross shape, and cut it out. He told me it was a present for me.

Caleb's drawings reflect an understanding of the fruits of the spirit. What an awesome testimony to you and James for teaching him that.

What a sweetheart! That is the cutest thing ever - I can't wait to cherish those kinds of sweet gifts from Mikaylah.
Do you keep things from your kids for when they are grown? My mom kept some things from various points in our childhood and it was SO FUN for us to go through it!! We couldn't believe what she kept - or what we made her!! *grin*

Bethany,
I keep forgetting to tell you this but there is a college called Bethany Lutheran College in the same town where I went to college in. Whenever I drive back to my parents they is a giant billboard advertising this school. All the billboard says is "Think Bethany" then the college logo with a picture of a student on it. I think of you whenever i drive past the sign. It always makes me smile. I wanted to take a picture but I don't have a digital camera because mine broke.

Shelly, thank you so much for the kind words. I was so amazed when he did that all by himself. What I loved was the pillow he used to illustrate "gentleness". It is surprising that he has soaked in the things that he is taught like that. I really should be spending more time teaching him from the Bible.
Vicky, YES! I have boxes and boxes full of their drawings that I am saving for the future. I am so happy to hear that the drawings meant something to you when you grew up...I wasn't sure if the kids would appreciate their old artwork as much as I do, when they grow up...but maybe they will!
Sarah, thank you!
JM, that is sooooo sweet! Thank you for thinking about me
I hope your camera gets fixed soon.
