This Weekend with Sara
This weekend, my friend, Sara, came from Ohio, to visit me! 
I had been looking forward to this visit for a long time!
I have known Sara for about 5 years...we met when she entered her sweet little baby girl (who is now 5 years old) into my online baby contest, Precious Infants. We started talking and getting to know each other, then, in 2005, when I was 8 months pregnant with Noah, my husband and I took the kids to visit her family! We had so much fun that time that we finally decided to set up another meeting this year!
Here are Sara and me, after we went to MacDonalds' yesterday. My sister, Jennifer, took the picture.

Sara and I also went to see the Ave Maria Grotto, which is an amazing work of art that a man worked his whole life to create- a "mini Jerusalem". The admission is very cheap - 5.00, and you get to see so many beautiful things- I could stay there hours just admiring all of the beauty there:
This cave he made is enormous, and quite breathtaking!
He even had a sense of humor, apparently:

Christine, we were just talking yesterday about how we need to go to Gatlinburg together one day. Maybe we'll do that and get to meet you too!

Looks like you had fun! I have not "met" anyone personally (that I don't already know) from my blog yet. But maybe I will someday. I think that it is awesome that you have been blogging 5 years. My 1 year blogging anniversary will be Jan 1st!

Bethany did you have a Big Mac??
I guess I just pictured you as someone who always ate salads, and other good foods. Not that you can't splurge. But my sis is a salad and good food person and would rather die than eat McDonald's!
Nice to know you are human! I did mean the above as a compliment lol. I guess I'm just shocked!
Nice that you were able to catch up w/someone from online!! You two look like sisters!

Oh Tia, I love Big Macs! I love Salads too, but if I'm in town I will always stop for a Big mac, a krystal burger, Sonic burger, Dairy Queen Burger, pizza from Subway, or whatever...I love fast food. It's one of my weaknesses. LOL

I must say I am rather jealous. The weather here is freeezing. Yesterday it was like 10 degrees! I am excited though, its suppose to snow tomorrow! We'll see though, you never know.

Ah wow, 10 degrees..how miserable! But snow would be nice...we really don't get snow around here. It did chill up after Sara and her family left though- it's down to 50 degrees now and 30 at night.

Nice weather, huh? It's been freezing outside for a while now. But thankfully we keep our heat on a good temp! I don't like it cold, and don't think children should be cold.
Would be nice to have one last nice 70-75 degree day! I don't see it happening tho.
