Caleb's Alter Ego
A couple of years ago, when Caleb was about 5, he wrote a story about a hero he created, named "Hurricane".
He was frequently pretending to be "Hurricane", telling me about all the superhero powers he had and stuff.
It was very cute.
At the time, I wasn't sewing, but after seeing the logo he created for his superhero alter ego, I wanted to have a logo printed out onto a shirt for him....or something like that... But I never got around to it.
Now that I am sewing, I decided it wouldn't be too difficult to sew some felt onto the front of one of his plain blue shirts into his logo. When he wakes up tomorrow morning, he will be surprised!
Please, take a look at his story about Hurricane at this link- It's soooooo cute. It has no true plot, but I love the ending.

He's going to love it! And that story is so cute. Make sure you NEVER throw the shirt away. It must be keeped with the story!

Roxanne, I bet they love that! Crowns are so much fun.
As for his story and the shirt, I plan on keeping them forever....I hope that I don't ever lose them (especially the story- the shirt could be replaced).

Bethany, you really are so creative! I would love to do things like that for my children, but I never seem to think of them. I need to start watching you for some ideas! Holly

Holly, you have a beautiful family! Thank you for commenting.
Samantha, I hope if he does come up with a superhero of his own, you'll post about it!

Did Caleb like the shirt? I'm sure he did.
I have a prayer request. A girl was hit by a car and killed early sunday morning and her friend seriously injured. I didn't know the girl that passed, i met her once maybe twice. But a lot of my friends from college knew her and were friends with her. It is a very difficult time for everyone here in Mankato. This is the third death of a student in 2 months. If everyone could please pray for Rissa's family and friends that would be great. Corrine is the one still alive and in the hospital.
