Kitchen Launderette Almost Finished

Here is what I finished this morning and last night. I still have dried acrylic paint on my hands as I type.

I need to get a square stamp somewhere, because I want to do checkers as a border, but I know from experience that it takes a long time to do freehand.      Maybe a piece of foam would work.

Everything looks so cute!!! It feels so good to walk into a room and see something different. Great job.

Try a sponge if you don't have foam. I always have extra sponges on hand that I wash dishes with- all you have to do is cut it into the shape you want.

Jenni, do you know how muhc bacteria LIVES in sponges? Unless you are throwing out the sponge after EVERY use, you are essentially spreading bacteria all over your dishes. Best thing? Dish cloths, they can be washed and bleached. I got a pack of white dish cloths at linens and things, and now I'm hooked on white dish cloths!

Please just don't tell me you are using sponges to clean the counters and table off with. You're doing the same thing.

Just trying to help, keep you and your family safe.

That is so adorable! Will you come do mine next? I don't have much wall space, but what I do have is BORING. I am still in awe of your talent and your ability to get all of these things done with small children. Amazing...

Thank you, Jennifer, Betty Jo, and Rachel!

    Jenni,
THANK YOU so much for that tip! I didn't even think of sponges for some reason! That will be so much simpler! I will go to the store tomorrow and get one just for that reason. Thanks again!

    Gena,
anytime you want me to come paint a mural, I'm more than willing!
    P.S.
A lot of times when I am doing my painting or sewing, the kids are doing their homeschooling, or they are off creating something of their own- if I'm lucky! I usually have to stop and start, stop and start, stop and start again many times. I'm constantly picking it up where I left off, and then letting it go, even when I'd rather just keep working at it. Sometimes the paint dries on the plate, when I leave and I have to put more paint on the plate before I can begin again. Starting and stopping seems to be the best way for me to get all these things done with the kids, because I am ALWAYS being interrupted (kids fighting, Noah breaking dishes, etc etc.) haha
