I have been searching the web for free sewing patterns and tutorials, and came across so many good ones, I just had to share!
First, there is an excellent picture tutorial which shows you step by step how to make an ADORABLE twirly skirt for little girls:

Thank you, Bethany, for posting these links!! I was given two huge containers of fabric and wanted to make some skirts for my two girls, but was waiting for a sale to buy patterns. Now I don't have to wait!!

I've made playdough with this recipe before, substituting a package of Kool-Aid for the food coloring and my kids love it! It smells great, but is so salty that even though it is edible, they don't want to eat it, which is, in my opinion, a BIG bonus!
I think my daughter just might need a new twirly skirt. And that penguin is just too cute!

Those are too cute! I wish I'd had the one for the child's apron a few weeks ago. I made an apron for Chico, but didn't want to make a trip to the store for a pattern. So I drew one up on a brown grocery bag. It turned out really cute. If I remember, I'll post a photo on my blog.
