Still having fun with the gourds.  Bonnie asked me last night to paint a certain gourd to look like a snail.   The first snail that came to mind was the snail from Spongebob, Gary.   "Meow?"  So after she went to bed, I looked at a picture of Gary, and tried to figure out how I could make it work. Gary has two large antennae's with big round eyeballs.   I had one drinking straw, and cut it in half, then taped it with black electrical tape (that's all I had at the time), and then I got a piece of foam, and cut it into two round shapes for the eyes.   I stuck them on the tips of the straws. Then I painted them.



I think the antennae should have been longer but only had one straw to work with at the time. lol
Bonnie liked it though, so that's all that matters!
