Gourd Heaven
I couldn't ever find that woman's house, to buy the gourds from her. However, while I was driving around, I noticed a house that has gourds all over the yard for sale. They are .50 cents, to 1.00, to 2.00 a piece. I picked out several, and the kids picked out a few of their own, and we took them home to have fun and paint on. There are some really cute shapes in this...and even though they may not look that great now, I can see some new great birdhouses coming from these.
