Did someone say Veggie Tales?

Valerie commented on the other gourd that I painted, saying that it reminded her of "Veggie tales".  What a great idea!    I decided to paint a Veggie Tales character on this.   LOL

Now, I don't watch Veggie tales, so I don't know... which character is this?

Oops, Valerie, I guess I should have said, I haven't really watched Veggie Tales enough to know. I have nothing against it! My kids do have one veggie tales video, but I don't know if it comes on TV or what. Someone gave them the video.

Vicky, I don't know why the computer does that with the wwws. It's strange. LOL

    Thanks!

The Veggie Tales started as only being available on tape or DVD and were only found at Christian stores. Eventually WalMart and other stores started to carry them. They became so popular that the creators started 123 Pequins, which is another Christian type show but instead of veggies - ya got pequins! They are very cute. Anyway, after the Movie "Jonah" was a success one of the "network" stations picked it up. However, they cut out all the references to God. The shows do have good morals behind them, so I think that is why the creators allowed it. Kids have to get some sort of good exposure! I absolutely love them and have many tapes and some DVD's. I'll watch them without the kids. Especially the Larry Boy's shows. (Larry Boy is a superhero cucumber)

oh well... enough of my Veggie Tales history...
