Sculpture...possibly finished
I've been working on this sculpture a lot the last few days, and I think I may be finished. It doesn't look *exactly* like my hubby, but it's close- well, sort of! haha
I was thinking about having his eyes opened, but several attempts proved that it wasn't working.. this is my first time doing this, so it is not that easy! lol Hopefully by the next time I'll be able to do a little better with that. Also, I might do one of someone smiling. But here it is, for better or for worse....
Oh and I'm planning on getting this bronzed as soon as I can figure out the process involved. Does anyone out there know of any information on that? I'll be doing a lot of researching this week and then next.
I am pooped now...need to get some rest. Tomorrow I'm going garage saling! Woohoo!

I want to TY for standing up for The Catholic mommies who have read or do read Candys blog. I agree with you 100%.
We all should be coming together in Gods name not tearing each other apart. Candy does infact seem to twist situations out of context for her own purposes. I read many Catholic & Christian blogs. I enjoy them all. I can honestly say I am friends with both denominations. We are ALL mommies here! Let's build each other up & support one another.
Truly you are a bigger person than Candy is because she does say one thing in a blog post that is disrespectful but then when challenged she will get defensive & say she was the one being attacked. We know better now don't we? The Catholic mommies have been respectful. She is blindly leading her "followers" & has no clue of what she speaks of in regards to the RCC. She will continue to post many RC fallacies & will be mean spirited to those who disagree. Especially the mommies in the blog world. People like Candy turn people off of Christianity. Period. Take care!

Bethany, your sculpture is great!! Now, is this something you have to fire first before bronzing? I'm not that versed in clay sculptures, in case you haven't noticed.
BTW, I am not officially a SAHM and I'm going to (try to) get back into OAMC and use your meal plans and recipes here!

I don't know ANYTHING about the bronzing process, but as far as I know (so far) I probably won't have to fire it...but I really am not sure yet!
