Can't wait till tomorrow!
Tomorrow is finally the day of the ultrasound!! I feel like I have been waiting an eternity! The appointment will be in the afternoon. I'm just trying to keep busy so that tomorrow will come quickly!
Last night, I had no problem keeping busy... in fact, I wasn't able to get any sleep till about 1:30 in the morning, becuase Caleb , Bonnie, and Noah all started throwing up about the same time again. First it was Noah...I heard him crying, and when I came in the room, he was covered from head to toe in his throw up. The poor thing!
So I carefully took his diaper off, wiped his face, then stuck him in the tub, as I was taking the covers off the bed and putting new ones on. Then, as I was doing that, I heard Caleb heaving and throwing up in his bed!
I ran to him quickly as I could with a bucket, but I was too late. He had already gotten it on the bed and his cover. So I told him to quickly get in the tub, and I took the covers off of his bed and put some new ones on his as well.
I sprayed the floor and cleaned it where it had gotten on the floor. I heard them crying in the tub, came in there and both of the boys were holding their tummies and looking so pitiful. Then I heard Bonnie heaving in her room! I couldn't believe it!
I ran into her room and gave her a bucket, then I took her covers off the bed and replaced them, gave her a new pullup, and some water, then heard the boys crying in the bathroom again, so I ran in there.
Noah was whimpering, Caleb was saying his tummy hurt.
I told Caleb to sit on the toilet for a while, and Noah stayed in the tub. Noah ended up having diarrea in the tub and I had to pull him out.
I cleaned him off and put him in the bed....then, he laid down and looked like he was going to sleep. Caleb went back to bed, Bonnie went back to bed. I turned off the light, and walked out of the room...only to hear the horrible noise of heaving again! I ran as fast as I could into Noah's room but I was too late...he had already thrown up again all over the new blanket. So I had to replace the covers yet again!
After that, it was finally over, but I stayed up for about an hour waiting to see what would happen next. My poor hubby was throwing up all day yesterday too! I had thought it was all over (since I was feeling better), but I guess I was wrong! Oh well, anyway, that's how we spent our July the 4th! haha, not as much fun as some might have had this year!

Wow! Crazy! Your family seems to get sick all at the same time a lot! I never remember getting sick at the same time as my sister or brother. I hope everyone feels better soon! Did you all eat something funny? And I can't wait to hear about you ultra sound! Make sure to keep us posted.

Oh poor babies. And you having to take care of it all. I hope that really was the last of it. In my family we passed things around so it would be a few weeks of at least one person being sick rather than a few days all at once. Not sure which is worse. Best wishes on your ultrasound, I'm hopeful for you!

All I know is nothing feels better than a mom when you are sick. I remember when I was a freshman in college I had the WORST sore throat of my entire life. I still to this day have not had one worse than that. I think it ended up being tonsillitis. Anyway, I called my mom (who was 2.5 hours away) in tears. She always has a way of making me feel better no matter what. MOM'S ROCK!

aww thank you all so much! The kids threw up again this morning at about 4:30 but it was only 1 time, and I am hoping that it will continue to get better.
I am sooooo looking forward to seeing the ultrasound.
Last night, I dreamed that I had given birth to a little tiny baby, that fit in the palm of my hand. It was the most beautiful little baby, and I was just in awe....In real life, a baby this small couldn't come home with me right away, but in my dream it did. And it was perfectly healthy and just so cute. I was a little bit sad when I woke up and the baby was not there. It was so beautiful.

It's stuff like this that scares me. I'm no good at dealing with throw-up. Fortunately, my kids haven't been sick much (yet), but we have a lot of years to go. Oh geez, how do moms do it?

It's not easy, but by the grace of God we are able.
