Something I saw today

Does anyone know what these are called?

We have many of these around this area...and I just think they are so pretty, despite the fact that they are covered in thorns. I  keep thinking "stinging nettle", but when I look those up on google, they don't look anything like this...any ideas on what it actually is?

What did you think of this article?

By the way, I remember you said you had a funny kid's story...I'd still love to hear it.

They are awesome looking! Too bad they stick you and are technically considered a weed.

I don't think I was the one with the funny kid's story. But I do kind of have one, its from a home movie when my sister was 3. I won't be able to do it justice over the internet, but it was a long, semi coherant monologue delivered by my 3 year old sister where one of my favorite lines was "Sarah impus just loves her momma and daddy and 3 yeard old, and mr. potty just loves for me to pee in him, and he just loves it"

LOL! JK where were you when I had the contest for funny stories? That was absolutely hilarious!
Reminds me of when Bonnie was about 2 and she had gone poo in the potty, and I told her to flush it down. She said, "But mommy, the poo poo is so cute! It's just so cute!"
