My May Voice Recital

Two days ago, I had the monthly voice recital at college (voice is the only thing I'm taking there).... someone taped it for me using a digital camera, but the camera would only tape for about 20 seconds at a time (the battery was dying out).   So the following video clips are only a few seconds long (kind of annoying)....but you get the general idea anyway. Maybe next time I'll get a better clip.   The name of the song is "Have You Seen but the White Lily Grow?" by Anonymous.

By the way, if you can't open the file as it is, you can go to this link, and convert the file to a format that your computer can read.      These links are all in Windows Media Player format.

Thank you, Cheryl! That first part I totally messed up....I can't seem to articulate the "ah's" very well. lol I'm still trying to learn how to do that. I have learned a lot though from these last two semesters. One thing that is very helpful is learning to use your diaphram. I didn't know how to use it until I started taking voice lessons. You visualize that when you take a breath in, you are filling up a balloon in your stomach. Your stomach pops out a little as you breathe, and you are raising your diaphram while doing this, allowing more air to enter your lungs and giving you better breath support. This was the most helpful advice I have gotten so far.
