About Me
Hi! My name is Bethany...I am a born again Christian, and a homeschooling mom who is somehow fortunate enough to be married to the sweetest man in the world... I have five kids that some days drive
me crazy and other days are sweet little angels. I'm sure you other moms out there can relate! My husband's name is James and my kids are Caleb (10), Bonnie(9), and Noah(5), Ian (1), and Annah (born
August 4, 2011). I also have 2 precious blessings who are now in Heaven. You can see a little bit about who I am at my about the artist
page on my drawing site. I've been married since 1998. I love every moment of being a mom, and as you can probably tell from my blog, I just love arts and crafts of any kind! Please feel free to
post a comment to let me know you were here! It always makes my day to hear from someone! Thank you so much for visiting my blog!
Today's plans the next couple of day's plans.... I have to get caught up! 1.) Go to a Master Class for voice today at 10:00
2.) Once I get back, immediately put some clothes in the washer and transfer the ones from the washer in into the dryer.
3. Fold and put away the EMORMOUS pile of clothes in my bedroom! (halfway done!)
4.) Organize the kids dressers and get rid of all the clothes that don't fit them anymore. (have 2 bags full of clothes to get rid of so far!)
5.) Clean out Caleb's closet (update:Now the stuff is all over the floor in his room and needs to be put away)
6.) Have the kids straighten the livingroom as I am doing the other things (the livingroom always gets messy constantly, and it's the first room people walk in when they visit). 7.) Wash and dry 3 or 4 loads, however many can be done as I'm doing the other stuff.
8.) Stick one of my OAMC dishes in the oven at 4:00 and let it cook for an hour.
New plans since yesterday: 9.) Clean livingroom again.
10.) Get ready to go to town. Kids clothed ready, and make them go to the bathroom before we leave.
11.) Clean the kitchen and make sure the floor is mopped well.
Let's hope I can get at least half of this stuff done!
3- 2- 1 - GO!
Update: I have been putting away lots of clothes but still am not finished. I have a whole hefty bag full of Noah's clothes that don't fit him anymore. He's getting so tubby! lol (I love tubby babies though!)
The livingroom looks nice, just needs to be vacuumed. Caleb cleaned it. Bonnie cleaned the kitchen floor (this is one of her favorite jobs...she absolutely loves doing this, I don't know why LOL )

Bethany, I cooked your recipe for the spicy sausage and pasta tonight for dinner. It is delicious! My little girls thought that the pasta tasted just like pesto pasta that I have made before. But... I used storebought pesto that is SO expensive! We love this dish. Thanks for sharing. Reply to this

Hmm, so Bonnie likes to clean the kitchen floor? That's so funny, it reminds me of how I LOVED to use the vacuum cleaner when I was little! My mom thought I was a little crazy! It's good to get kids used to doing housework and even enjoying it...singing or listening to music always helped me with doing boring chores--it still helps me now, too. Reply to this

Gena, I'm so glad you liked the recipe! It really does taste expensive, doesn't it? It's always so fun to find a yummy recipe like that!
amy, that's so funny. I wish I was like that again, where I just got excited about doing chores. lol Reply to this
