Little Robot guy
My husband, being a cable technician, seems to always be coming home with different bolts, connectors, wires, etc...he usually lays them on the table, and I eventually end up throwing them away, even though there are so many things I can see myself building with them.
But then I saw these two pieces and immediately saw them as a little robot. lol I HAD to see it come together a little. I connected them together, put a ribbon around his neck, and used a curling iron stand piece for the arms. Now I'm just wondering what I can use for the legs. I have no way of gluing anything on... it's times like these I think I need to learn how to weld. lol

BETHANY! That is so funny...guess what my husband does for a living? He is a cable tech for Time Warner. We seem to have a whole lot in common, girl!
I should show you a picture of the junk drawer in my kitchen, it is full of little connectors that go on the end of the cable wire. I know you would sympathize.

Thanks for the comment on my blog!! Love the robot. My neighbor works for Time Warner too. My teen runs over there EVERY time she thinks something is wrong with our internet!

Wow, Jill...what a coincidence! James works at Time Warner too. That is so funny, I never would have guessed our husbands had the same job! lol
Tonya, that is so funny.. James gets that a lot here too...our neighbors and everyone call him everytime that something's going on with the cable or internet.

Oh and Jill, yes, I totally sympathize! I have so many drawers full of them it's not even funny! He always saves them as though he'll use them one day, but I have never seen him actually pull one out once they're in a drawer! lol
He never misses them when I chunk them!

I was just taking a look at your artist page again, you are such a cutie. I didn't see the clips from your television appearances before, did you add those recently?
I cannot believe James works for TW, also! What a small world. I love that Mark works for TW, the free internet, cable, phone...the good life. They are supposed to be coming out with cell phone service soon, do y'all have that yet?
We get all the calls from family/friends whenever they have a cable issue. I have heard so many calls, even *I* can answer most of the questions now!

Oh yeah! The free cable and internet are awesome! I wouldn't have a cable connection to the internet if he didn't work there...I'd have dial up, again!
Those TV appearances have actually been on the site for a while, but they probably are hard to notice

I love in the one that they said the standard "you don't look old enough to have any kids, let alone three". I get that so often.
