Today, prep work for OAMC
Today, I was able to do some of the prep work for tomorrow...I didn't get as much as I would have liked to have (due to morning sickness and throwing up.... Blech! ), but I managed to:
1.) Cook 4 whole chickens and debone them.
2.) Cook a pot roast
3.) Cook 12 chicken breasts in the crockpot.
4.) Chop up several onions.
5.) Brown 2 pounds of ground beef.
6.) Cut up fajita strips out of steak and cook them.
7.) Put together 5 meals and put them in the freezer.
8.) Clean up all the mess.
9.) Make cinnamon buns for a treat for tomorrow's breakfast.
Now the hardest part will be tomorrow and I'm crossing my fingers that tomorrow will be a less nauseating day! I didn't even take into account how all of those food smells would effect me now. I wouldn't recommend doing the Once a Month cooking when you're in your first trimester, if you're one to get sick like me!

P.S. My grocery bill total was $330.00, and that included all lunch and dinner items for the next month, with the exception of milk, bread, and other such items.
