I found time to post today finally!      It's 9:35 and my hubby is sleeping...he's really tired tonight for some reason (went to bed at 7:00). He's on the couch right now looking so peaceful.

Today I went to Walmart to buy some felt and fabric...I'm excited to start trying to make these toys (more free patterns online!!):

Tutorial time

I have been doing a lot of drawing commissions lately, but just haven't been able to post them here.
However, I finally have one I can post, and share.  I'll try to explain what I'm doing as I go along, in case any of you are interested in learning to draw.   

Work in progress picture 1:

I have begun by drawing the outline of the little girl's features ....
If you would like to get started and don't know how, you can do the underdrawing either:
by hand,
by using a Grid 
a lightbox,
or even using an opaque projector.
