Would you like to watch me draw?
Would you like to learn a little bit about drawing?
I have people asking me about my techniques in drawing, and they're very simple.
First, I don't really buy any really expensive supplies. I buy smooth bristol paper (which you can get at any art store, or Hobby Lobby) for a pretty low price, and the pencils are usually Staedtler Mars Lumograph, 2B to 4B. For erasing, I use a blue wall putty which you can buy at Walmart or Office max for 1 dollar. It's meant to hang posters on the wall. It looks like this:

The blue kind works best....it works a million times better than kneaded eraser, and is MUCH cheaper. It can pull up even the darkest pencil lines very easily.
I also use kids cap erasers that you can buy at Walmart....and for blending, I use toilet tissue. Yes, that's right, just plain old toilet tissue! It works great!
You can actually see videos of me (drawing a rose) at this link:

You can see how I turn the paper around over and over, instead of sitting it still. I also many times draw on the floor (which is what I'm doing in most of those videos! lol )
BE WARNED- some of the videos have music- so in advance, if some of your babies are sleeping, you might want to turn the speakers down! Only a couple of them do have music in the background, but I don't want you to have to have any unexpected surprises!
I hope this will help any of you who would like to start drawing! It's a lot of fun!!
