Taking a minute to answer your questions
I am amazed that there have been so many people visiting my blog- it's only been around for a few weeks!
To all the people who have visited and commented, thank you, and welcome!
I have been getting some questions by email, and I thought it might help others who have the same questions if I would answer them on the blog.
Question:

Hello~I came across your site last night, a link from mrs catherines
website. Anyway, I am putting a household binder together, and just loved
yours. Especially the links to the pictures that you use. But I was wondering
if you could tell me alittle more about how you plan out the whole 40 weeks for
homeschooling ahead.? We also homeschool, but the most I get planned out at a
time is about 12 weeks, I would love to get the whole year done. I plan for 4
days a week.
I would love to hear back from you. Thanks so much~D******

Thank you for your comments!
I just made the schedule you saw for my son recently, after seeing Miss Maggie's on her Homeschool Curriculum page.
It's wonderful and so helpful to help me remember to have him do all his regular work every day. The schedule provides structure for me....I am not naturally a structured person.
You can see Miss Maggies' first grade schedule here , and the FREE entire curriculum for the first grade here. This is not the exact curriculum I go by...I have so many books here at home that I have been fortunate enough to be given by friends and family...however I do use many of the resources on her Homeschool books page for extra learning. There are some WONDERFUL resources there!
Now if you'd like to design your own schedule for school, you can use this template which is what I used for my children's schedules...this is in Microsoft Word:
Schedule
This is what my son's looks like:
Caleb's routines
After I print this same sheet out about 6 times, I get a calendar, and I mark the weeks in the left hand corner...that way I can mark off the row he has completed each time.
Example:
(Week) 1
9/14-9/21
Then I put the pages in the laminated sheets and put them to good use!
Thanks for your questions, hope this has been helpful!
